The untold stories of Cuban Exile

The plotline in Grave Madness about Cuban exiles has its genesis in my adolescence. Fascination with Cuba came early, following the fear of nuclear war. That said, my fear was nothing compared with the fear of the Cuban children sent to the US during Operation Pedro Pan. I keep waiting to see a news story about them.
