Bridging the Digital Divide along the Continental One

  mt-logoFish, Wildlife and Parks, in an honest endeavor to bring Montanans into the digital age, is setting up an online system for citizens hoping to harvest road kill. Approximately 56% of Americans own smartphones though I can't say where Montanans stack up there.

 I'll leave that to the NY Times to tell us. But about a third of Montanans have no cell coverage where they live, (a statistic that strikes fear in the hearts of many of my urbanite eastern friends), so maybe they'll go to their public library to submit their application for a permit. Rural libraries have reported increased usage thanks to patrons' interest in computer access....
